P.J. Goddard has been a professional decorative painter for 24 years, creating unique
effects on walls, floors
and ceilings in residential and commercial settings. She specializes
in painting murals, trompe l'oeil,
faux finishes, woodgraining, cloud ceilings, and intricate stenciling. She has been featured on HGTV,
many photos of her work have been shown in books and magazines, and she has taught classes around the
country. P.J. also has an internet-based international mail order business that she started 18 years ago,
selling her detailed laser-cut stencil designs, stencil-cutting materials, tools and supplies. P.J. began watercolor painting three years ago. She is enthralled by the unpredictability of this new medium and how it is a metaphor for the
changes
that occur in one's life.
P.J.'s other passions include playing the piano, photography, dancing, boogie boarding, hiking, skiing, and wellness consulting with regard to nutrition and alternative medicine. Her original career was in Physical Therapy.
